I don't think that is BAC. It might be his daughter. BAC is older. He is also not a "socialist wannabe". He doesn't just talk the talk, he walks the walk.

Well now, that would be an interesting study...A socialist here in America. So for instance, Who does he work for? government, or private employer? Does he own a house? Is he a card holding member of the SPUSA?

ah well, it matters not in the end. Though we do have a problem with creeping socialism in this country, I am still hopeful that there are enough people that still yearn to be free, and not under any governmental yoke.

BAC is without question an unapologetic socialist. He does not waver from his support of it.

His daughter is in the military and has served this country well including tours in Afghanistan.

I am more of a libertarian than anything. Our country is not run in the manner that I would choose any more than it is for BAC. That doesn't mean either of us will give up promoting the ideas/strategies/policies that we feel would be in the best interest of this country and its people, just because the system doesn't run as we would like it to.

Well said. The idea that I would quit just because there are things that I dislike about how things are run is ridiculous.

Also, take note of the 2 responses concerning BAC. Neither SF or I agree with BAC on most political issues. But both of us respect him. That should tell you something about him. Respect from friends and those who agree with you is easy. Respect from opponents is more telling.

Very well put by both you and SF. If things were exactly as all people wanted in this country...if there were no concerns, then sites such as this would be ghost sites. I feel that the population of people who think as I do is in the minority but I am still going to be involved and respectfully voice my opinion and talk about issues if for nothing else to be informed.
