I saw the tapes as well as everyone else...and I know what is taught at the Acadamies..by all info to date they were justified..sorry but thats a fact jack...carry on...I will wait for the investigation before I send the officers to the gallows...for pc sake...:pke:

When did I "send them to the gallows"? And agreeable to the Sherrif of our county, no you do not taser anybody who is not threatening your or another's life. So, according to their more modern training you are full of crap.

Now if he was a murderer and was fleeing, yes. You taser him because letting him go could endanger others. If he is a college student asking a stupid question and no danger to yourself or others you do not. This was incorrect usage of what can be lethal force. It is nothing to play with when you are not endangered.

a taser is not considered to be 'deadly force'...it is a progessive use of force...short of deadly force...sorry damo but ya stepped into my area of expertise! and I am going to return your favor...'You are full of shit'...hows that feel?

Had he simply tried to keep others from speaking at the mic, then reacted to the Keystone Kops in the same way, then yes, he would have been tasered for that as well.

It wasn't WHAT he was saying, it was that he was infringing on other's rights to their free speech by attempting to overtake and control the meeting for his own specific agenda. For a small time he succeeded.

Now, he was escorted away for that. What he was tasered for was resisting the law enforcement officers. IMO, way too much force to be used in this circumstance.

Except nowadays we know that tasers can kill and thus there are different rules in effect than were in during the dinosaur days. Give it up. You do not taser somebody unless they are actually a danger to yourself or others and you know it. This is totally just attempting to cover them in a wall of blue. It is garbage, bad actors in LE need to be removed from the position.

Now I am a dinosaur....sorry but the same training applies today in the use if tasers as it did when I was active...it is still not considered 'deadly force' It is still a progressive use of force short of deadly force...ya really need to elect a new Sheriff if he told you different! And by the way I will be expecting a apology from you when the investigation is completed!

You can name a million different things which have time limits and they are not a violation of free speech.

But it doesn't, at least to one current officer of LE that I know. Even in their jail they don't use them unless somebody is actually threatening their well-being.

Anyway, he described TASER use, and part of that description was usage in a jail setting.

all weapons must be checked...there are tower guards who are armed..but not on the playing field...weapons can be unlocked during a riot or escape...only!

Right and while I was in the field I had a few persons say the same thing ...several times...please don't shoot me while he was running full steam ahead with a knife...
and the kid in question continued to resist while all along saying 'Bro...don't taser me'...your call Mr.Know it all!:pke:

And thus, we find out that weapons are sometimes required in a jail setting. Are you retarded, or have you missed the part where I said they can be used during certain times?

The Sherrif also places a limit on their usage to only if you, or another's lives are in danger.
