The Constitution protects Trumps tax returns

Nothing personal there "E," but I am amazed how little conservatives actually understand the Constitution they so often praise

First off, no Constitutional right, none, First, Second or Fourth, are absolute, never have been, and never will be

According to you and others that cannot point to anything in the Constitution that says anything even near that horseshit!!!!!

Second, you seem to have forgotten a key element in the Amendment, "upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

Probable cause is the “PROBABLE” evidence of a crime. For Congress to constitutionally get their grubby paws on Trump’s taxes, they will have to produce some PROBABLE evidence of a crime.

Article I, Section 8, Clause 18, gives the Oversight Committee the authority to subpoena Trump's taxes and Article I, Section 9, Clause 8 gives them cause

“PROBABLE CAUSE” of what? What’s the PROBABLE CAUSE?????

And lastly, it doesn't matter, the whole thing will be buried in the Courts for years, that is what Trump does with all his challenges, he doesn't have an army of attorneys and "fixers" on retainer for nothing. However, as long as the issue is alive the question of what is he hiding grows, and when coupled with is soon to be the heavily retracted Barr Report, the concern over Trump's trustworthiness and honesty will only escalate.

Actually that’s all the Democrats think they’ll get out of this fishing expedition. Trump got elected without releasing his taxes, we’ll see if it matters in 2020. Democrats are just making America sick of their scams, fishing expeditions and witch hunts.

In other words, none of it is going to benefit Trump, and even Fox won't be able to deflect the questions

Who doesn’t know that CNN & MSNBC and the DNC will think up another million stupid conspiracies toaim at trump???? The guy loves it! It’s his ammo for showing up the fake news.

The papers in question are not in the possession of Rump, they have already been submitted to the United States and are the property of the United States.

I agree Rump has no obligation to release his tax returns, the IRS however does have a legal obligation to give them to the Chair of the House Ways and Means Committer.

We'll see if the courts agree, I don't. It's illegal for the IRS to deliver anybody's tax returns to public observation, and to any court or congress without due process of the law and thereby "PROBABLE CAUSE" of a crime supported by oath or affirmation.

Where does it say it is illegal for one branch, the IRS to give information they own, to another branch, Congress?

Sounds like Trumpf has something to hide, which ultimately will be just as politically damaging, or more so, than simply being as transparent and open as other presidents were in disclosing their financial interests to their constituents.

Yeah, that must be it!! After all, the IRS has never reviewed his returns have they dumb fuck? :::WINK WINK:::

Liberals really are nothing more than a bunch of dishonest, hypocritical buffoons.

Unless he is trying to hide something, Trumpf should release his tax returns like every other president of the modern era has.

Why do you want Trumpf's tax returns hidden from public scrutiny?

He doesn't have to comply with any liberal demands. You can pound sand for all that matters.

Trump would have voluntarily released his taxes - like every single other modern president has - unless he feels he has something to hide.

I would be astonished if he did anything blatantly illegal on his taxes. But you and I both know his tax returns are going to show that rich guys like Trump have the system gamed to where their effective tax rate ends up being far lower than the tax rates average schmucks making 50 grand a year have to pay.

And that is exactly why you and Trumpf want his taxes hidden from public view. Because it will confirm what most Americans already suspect - rich guys like Trump have the system gamed for themselves. And rich guys like Trump are trying to keep it that way.

This is what you get when the liberal left have been wrong on EVERYTHING for two years. No Collusion, no obstruction, no campaign violations so now we must demand and have his TAX RETURNS dammit!!!

Do you assholes ever get tired of looking like low IQ, pathetic, hypocritical lying dumbfucks? That was a rhetorical question.

Only in a closed door session. Again, the despicable thing here is that you know these dishonest partisan hacks will leak anything they find to their willing accomplices in the media.

Liberals aren't fooling anyone; particularly the American voters. This is a stain on the Democratic Party of the Jackass that can't be bleached out by 2020.

It does not say that information you gave to the government cannot be shared within that government. Silly.

Was there a crime? Only in a closed door session. So what crime? Shall we just turn the House into a Kangaroo court without Constitutional precedence's?
