S. is one of the biggest beneficiaries of free trade and some of our companies make more from abroad than they do in the U. S. McDonalds has over 39,000 locations in over 100 countries. It would be very bad if China cut us off from rare earth metals.

it wasnt quite as bad when we restriced trade to nations with similar civil and humans rights standards, but allowing de facto human slave labor on the international market incentives that slavery to the detriment of free people everywhere.
