Top 15 cities with the highest homeless population

No doubt that’s part of the problem. But my contention is that the lowest dregs of society vote democrat which allows filth, violent crime, vagrants. The voters and the democrat leadership don’t really see these things as serious problems. In fact they welcome these aspects which “normal “ folks see as ills of society. Why else would voters In these places continually vote freaks like Ted Wheeler and Lori Lightfoot along with DA.s like Larry Krasner , Alvin Bragg and Kim Fox that won’t prosecute criminals?
These type of voters are more concerned with white supremacists roaming the housing projects of Detroit and Chicago. And you have to admit the democrat leadership has done a great job of keeping these nazis out of New Orleans, Philadelphia, NYC and the like.

Huh?

No, I meant blaming liberal policies and Democrat leadership for everything wrong in major cities.

Common theme around here.

Simple people like simple solutions. You're not talking to any rocket scientists. LOL

Most of them don't have college degrees. Those that do are in their 70s and scared about dying a loser.

You forgot to use the N-word.

Ever been to some rural, small towns of white Republican redneck trash in the rural Midwest and South?

Talk about dregs...

Jeff Foxworthy: "If you've got more appliances in the front yard than you've got in the house... you might be a redneck."

I claimed that the title seemed to suggest you were blaming the homeless problem in California cities on liberal policies, which you denied and for which I took you at your word..

I have no idea where you got the association with white supremacists from in anything I've said.
Not you. Dutch.

Yes. Not nearly as prevalent as big city shitholes , and murder and homelessness not as bad. In fact I consider a beat up trailer house in the woods to be far less a blemish than rows and rows of homeless camps. They tend to stay out of sight and keep to themselves.

For the sake of discussion you referenced that the lowest dregs of society vote Democratic. Traditionally Democrats were the party of the working class and garnered a majority of the votes among those without a college degree. That's started to change however and I believe Trump won a majority of non college educated voters. And then he had the famous speech in Nevada where he was riffing on all the groups he liked and at one point said "I love the poorly educated". That pretty much cemented Democrats now hating most non college educated people and we now have Republican Congressmen suggesting people drop out of college.

And think about Bernie supporters who are the ones most likely to support progressive DA's and the like. Many of them are young and college educated. And plenty of educated economically well to do people vote for progressive policies. I've seen it for decades.

As you know I’m highly educated but I encouraged my son to not get caught up with the idea that college is the natural progression after high school (like i was).
Fortunately he followed his instincts and does very well , thank you, as an aircraft mechanic for fedex.

How much money is thrown at the Homeless People Industry and various services matters a lot, for a lot of these West coast cities that is about $100,000 per year per. And the numbers are just exploding. And the WOKE want to build them all apartments that they would not need to pay for, they would not even need to get treatment for their "issues".

"Houston, we have a problem"

The homeless are not an industry nor are they industrious.

Well, they are Homeless, so there IS a Problem. And no one is coming up with a Solution and/or willing to Pay for it.

1) Enforce the law
2) Do something about the drug pushers (enforce the law).
3) Do something about criminals (enforce the law).
4) Do something about socialism (enforce the law).
5) Do something about oppression (enforce the law).

Enforce the law.

In San Francisco awhile back they passed a $1 billion + bond for services/housing for the homeless. Passed with a pretty high percentage. What's funny/sad is they are having trouble spending the money because they can't get approval to put the housing anywhere. No matter where they go in the City they get push back and it gets blocked.

On one hand it's understandable that most people don't want homeless shelters near them. But yeah...

Because all it will do is the same thing, but in spades, that Section 8 housing does. It brings the crime, the drugs, and the problems into where productive and law abiding people live.
