Yes, but I would bet you there will be grins on some of the faces at MSNBC that literally cried the night that Trump got elected if the deaths reach a certain point (no I don't know the point, but it would be where they think it "guarantees" a D win in the election). They won't even realize that they are swimming in the political macabre because they still somehow believe that there is no political agenda there...

I believe that some folks at this site will have the same reaction, some will even admit to it.

Obviously you've seen the far Right Wingers on this forum declare everything from "this isn't worse than the flu" to "more people died of the flu". The 62,000 deaths number wasn't chosen at random. It was specifically chosen because of those guys. Do you really think any of them will admit error is the number is over 62,000 in November? Yeah, me neither. That's how those gutless cowards roll.

I can't imagine. I watch others react in ways I find unimaginable, and you will see it on this site even if you won't want to admit it. How few was it that caused Obama to wipe his brow in relief when the hiney virus was out and about?

I strongly doubt any American will be smiling to point out over 62,000 Americans have died of COVID-19. If they do, then they are obviously mentally deranged.

Why do you think none of the RWers claiming COVID is a fake virus or less lethal than the flu have voted in the poll?

Yes, I watch it... It's like watching a True Crime documentary. I'm fascinated but my mind can never wrap around it. I don't know if Legion will be among them, but there will be some truly unimaginable reactions.

It's not a matter of being cracked or not, but a matter of degrees: How cracked? I'd put Truth Detector and CenterL on the high end with Teflon Don a notch lower.

But your side never wishes death on anyone, like ppl who live in "liberal" cities. I seem to recall several (R)s in the news recently, who are quoted as saying (paraphrased), that we need to re-open the economy no matter how many deaths it takes.

I think there will be some of them there too. It isn't "sides", it's people. Some people can't get themselves past a "them" mentality, it really doesn't matter the color of the jersey.

Here in Michigan we have thousands saying "We're all in this together," but what gets the headlines? A small group of morons prancing around the state capitol sans masks, with kids in tow, comparing the stay-at-home order with Hitler's Nazi Germany. Oh, and they brought their confederate flags too, because nothing says "I'm a proud American patriot and I got my rights" like a racist symbol of treason.

I've noticed a 'Red Team/Blue Team' mentality here.
If Obama did it ... Red Team says it's 'WRONG!'
If Trump did the same thing ... Red Team says it's 'RIGHT!'.
Or you can reverse it and get the same results from Blue Team.

So ... I think it does have EVERYTHING to do with the 'Jersey'.

Easy example:
Obama wants to implement a surgical strike on the Assad Regime for using outlawed Chemical weapons ... Red Team screams bloody murder.
Trump wants to do the same thing for the same reason ... Red Team cheers and waves the American Flag.
