What was I wrong about Desh? I asked you who ran the CA legislature that WROTE the law that partially deregulated the CA energy market. You failed to respond and you continue to run away from answering the question. I never once stated that Wilson was not the Guv at the time.

So tell us Desh... is the legislature responsible for the deregulation because they wrote the bill or is Wilson responsible for signing it? Or are they both responsible?

Kind of the opposite of the Congressional Republicans writing the financial deregulation law and Clinton signing it. Puts Desh in a partisan quandary.

A recession is triggered by a slowdown in the economy to the point that GDP growth goes negative for at least two quarters. I already stated that as well, so do learn to read. I also gave you what triggered the down turn under Bush I, so read that as well.

not a novel idea on this thread (already said) but I'd have to got with Post WWII also - having caught a tailend of those boom times.

Then it all went downhill, with 'Nam and the junk oil crises, "malaise" of the 70's.

The 80's were boom times, but we started the credit card (national debt) spending spree.

90's saw a brief respite with the dot. coms.

Back to the Founding - those were nobel intents, backed by patriots for these United States.
The early 1800's had the War of 1812 - again pre "manifest destiney" when we trying to be free, instead of wiping out native Americans.

so then why did the Bush SEC NOT implement the full bill that was signed?



how can you blame Clinton for a law he signed when the republican then ONLY implemented the parts the CEOs liked?
