Trump gave them EVERYTHING they had been fighting for for 20 years, and all of our military personal that were killed there were killed and died for NOTHING.
and I can NOT believe anybody that fought in that war would vote for Trump after he did that. They should read that agreement and se it for themselves.

Agreed on Trump's Treason. I'm retired military and have mixed feelings about the idea of continuing to fight a war where there's nothing to be gained except more dead Americans. That's a lesson I learned from Vietnam.
Part of the problem in Afghanistan is that GW Bush turned his attention to Iraq instead of finishing the job in Afghanistan. We should have been done militarily in Afghanistan by 2005 and it become more about international diplomacy and support. Instead, Bush poured over a trillion bucks into Iraq while our mission in Afghanistan was left swinging in the wind.
I was always against going into Iraq for the same reasons General Powell mentioned: No exit strategy. We'd win the war and lose the peace which is exactly what happened. Worse, we lost Afghanistan too.
Obviously, GW never learned the wisdom of "if you chase two rabbits, you will not catch either one".

and when we do go into a war we have to go in to win and not tie at least one hand , if not both hands behind the back of our military ,
we haven't done that since Korea, we let our Politicians put a freeze on what we can do while they are at the peace table and they let the other side re-supply.
we did it in Nam and most every other war since Korea.
again IF we are going into a war we have to go in to WIN it not draw it out for years and years.
