What would the ideal leftist America look like?

Do parents go through the same education and certification process as teachers? No.

Do parents go through the same education and certification process as administrators? No.

Do parents go through the same education and certification process as guidance counselors and social workers? No.

So how does your BS in Bullshitting qualify you to educate kids?

More non sequiturs in the form of appeal to authority.

Are parents educated? Yes. In some cases, possibly many, they are better educated than the teacher they are dealing with.
Are parents capable of doing managerial and administrative tasks? Yes. In many cases, they do such things for a living.
Are parents capable of giving guidance advice to their children? I'd sure as hell hope so, making them likely as qualified as some quack at a school doing it.

So, how does your BA in nothing in particular qualify you to comment on anything?

OK, it is YOUR assessment as a NOT TEACHER that an ambiguous and vague teacher has little grasp on the subjects they're teaching.

What makes you think you're entitled to making that judgment?

Are you a teacher? No.

Are you a principal? No.

Are you a guidance counselor? No.

Are you a student? No.

When was the last time you set foot in a classroom? Probably more than 25 years ago.

So this is just projection because you ultimately have no degree or firm grasp on any subject, and you know that, so you try to drag everyone down to your shitty level, when you put yourself in that corner by opening your big mouth.

More irrelevant appeals to authority.

Anyone can participate of course but I'm interested in hearing from leftists what America would like if every leftist ideal was realized. What would America be like? What would you do once every perceived injustice has been corrected?

Utopia!

Jesus fucking Christ...YOU are the one who brought the conversation here and now that you're discovering that you ultimately have no fucking clue what you're talking about, you're trying to use excuses to avoid the fact that you're ignorant about this subject.

Are parents educated? Yes. In some cases, possibly many, they are better educated than the teacher they are dealing with.

Are parents educated in how to educate others? No. That's why you have to get training.

How does your BS in Bullshitting qualify you to teach children?

Are parents capable of giving guidance advice to their children?

LMAO!

So you're moving the bar on education down to "advice"?

OK...giving advice isn't not educating...and what qualifies them to even give that advice in the first fucking place?

You are arguing entitlement, but the problem with entitlements is that they are earned...and what have "parents" done to earn the entitlement?

So, how does your BA in nothing in particular qualify you to comment on anything?

Well, unlike certifications to being a teacher, there are no certifications to posting on JPP.

That's why you post here all the time, isn't it? Because it's a safe space for you that lets you play in a fantasy world; where you know more about education than a teacher does, even though you have never been trained, never been certified, never been instructed, haven't set foot in a classroom since last century, and are incredibly fucking lazy.

More irrelevant appeals to authority.

Just like Into the Night, you are also a coward who doesn't believe a single fucking thing you post on JPP.

It's all disingenuous garbage that you will never stand behind, never verify, never confirm...you will just continue to insist, without evidence, that you are somehow smarter, more clever, more educated, etc. even though all you can do is say a bunch of shit and then not defend any of it by coming up with excuses.

I am so sick of Conservatives making excuses all the time.

It's fucking pathetic, and it's also indicative of the fact that you don't believe any of the stupid shit you say here.

None of it. You're faking it all because you're a phony.

He won 10 participation trophies and was told he was "special".

Irrelevant appeal to authority. Just because someone got a degree in education or whatever, doesn't mean they know shit about how to do it. ...
That shows you the fallacy of your argument. Nothing but an irrelevant appeal to authority.

One of the biggest issues we have today, is that the dumbest amongst think they should lead and that they need to have things explained to convince them, or those things should not be done.

In the past, the dumbest amongst us knew to shut up and let those with the knowledge lead.

Yes if i want my car or the airplane fixed it is proper to 'Appeal to Authority' when choosing who to do the work, or his views to take. A dumb person disputes this and cries 'Appeal to Authority fallacy', when it is NOT by a default a fallacy, to rely on experts.

this is what leads us to people like Marjorie Greene in congress, bragging about how she yelled at the top Military brass, telling them they were wrong and it was BS, with regards to their assessment as to the best place to shoot down the China balloon. Marjorie Greene simply assumes to respect the Top General and Analysts and others views is a Appeal to Authority fallacy and that her opinion, based on no data, is every bit as valid as theirs is.

This is what Trumpism and the new GOP has lead us to. This emboldening of the most stupid in our midst.

My opinions are as good as your facts.

This emboldening of the most stupid in our midst.

Not only the emboldening of their stupidity, but of their cowardice.

Because the one thing every single Conservative has in common is that they don't reach conclusions on their own, someone must lead them there...so it becomes a question of trust for them, since they don't trust anyone who tells them that they're wrong.

So they say a bunch of shit, and then don't defend any of it...instead, they grow shrill and defensive until they declare themselves smart and abandon their own argument.

They do it every day...it's always the same.

That's not what LV426 is doing however. His, her, its, position is that having a degree and / or certification alone confers superior knowledge and ability. There are plenty of people who have degrees and don't know their ass from their elbow.

The logical fallacy Appeal to authority applies when someone demands you believe them on the basis of their supposed qualification(s) such as having a degree while offering nothing in terms of factual rebuttal.

Jill Biden does this with her insistence on being called "Dr. Jill" because she was given a PhD that by her dissertation, she doesn't deserve or qualify for.

So, when LV426 says something like Shut up! You don't have a degree in education so you're unqualified to speak about education... it amounts to nothing but an irrelevant appeal to authority.
