To answer the question above - probably not, unless they're really stupid.

As for what they're supposed to investigate today - they can investigate what happened during the campaign. Again, this is how a lot of investigations work.

Who knows? I don't - there was obviously enough there to warrant an investigation. It wasn't just Democrats calling for this.

And by the accounts I have heard, the committee is really dragging its feet.
