Otherwise tell me what actions you would take to fix food stamp fraud. I know there is food stamp fraud, I've seen lots of it first hand. What I'm sick of is IDIOTS who say we can't use them because some abuse it instead of taking a minutes time out of the day to figure out a fix for the fraud. Same with disability. Most Americans want to help the disabled but hate the fraud. The Right Wing doesn't want to help the disabled, they want to end the programs that help the TRUELY DISABLED because of the few who abuse the system. To a Libertarian I would say, "Since the majority of Americans have stated that they want to help the truly disabled, why can't we find a system to screen out the fraud, instead of cutting the funding to the truly disabled?............basics.

I'm kind of curious about these needy peeps you speak of.

In the USA, you can make over $40K a year and still be considered "NEEDY" enough to have other peoples' wealth redistributed to you via the Earned Income Tax Credit.

I doubt there's any other in country in the world who forcibly subsidizes those earning more than $40K per year.

Clearly, we have the world's richest "poor" people.... so go peddle these papers elsewhere.

Yes, in the US....you CAN make $40k/year and get EITC.....if you qualify. A single person living on their own doesn't get it. But a family who has two kids might.

Stop making false arguments....you sound like a whiner.

We phase out i. e. abolish all of the federal unconstitutional socialist fucking programs and obey the 10th Amendment to our Constitution. Thereby whatever socialist programs that are created and exist in America are experiments of the 50 States by their free and constitutional state and local decision without federal mandate and thereby whatever fraud that does exist in them, (should a State decide to create them), is localized and more easily attended to and therefore fraud is reduced to a State level instead of infesting and festering throughout the entire nation.

Context, my friend....learn how it's used. That's how many of these arguments start.

You said that people making $40k get EITC. $40k for a single person is a pretty decent living. $40k for a.family of four is barely scraping by. It also doesn't show how that money is earned. Perhaps both parents are working and making $20k each. Then you have to factor in stuff like child care(if the children are young), the added cost of EVERYTHING when you have children.

For example....when I was single....I had more money to piss away 13 years ago at $30k/year than my wife and I do now at $110k/year....why? A household to take care of and children to feed.

So yes....you are making false arguments.

Yes. EITC is receiving money you did not earn. That is welfare.

Tax deductions are not welfare. Now one could argue that tax credits are a form of welfare and in would tend to agree.
