Damar Hamlin

I am married to a minority who, at times, worked two jobs to help put our children through private school and college.

She abhors these race merchants who whine about non-existent racism.

Most Americans have moved on from race. There are tons of laws protecting minorities.

There are some who can not succeed or will not even attempt to succeed in this competitive America and will be crying about racism til they die.

It's just an excuse.

They are weak people who are a drag on the rest of hard working Americans.

There is no excuse for the disproportionate violent crime by 13% of the population.

None.
I do wonder what they're going to do today to help others... this is a day of learning and giving and service ..

He's a little confused... we'll get things straightened out eventually...

I don't know, TOP.

People of his ilk will never admit there is a level playing field in America now and will always use racism as an excuse for their own failures.

I have no hope for them.

It is beyond refreshing to see a black man recieve so much love and so much support from ppl all over the country, while this nation still struggles with a divisive legacy of racism and hatred. It does however saddens me that a negro in order to get this type of love and affection has to be in full gear, ie a sport uniform for white ppl to give a damn, else he's just another negro in distress.....as a matter of fact, had this brother had this same event take place outside of entertaining white ppl, I don't think he'd recieve the type of attention he's recieving now. So to all my black brothers, you want love from the master, bust your ass while in a uniform, else look out!

You're disgusted by that? Every word? What a cute, little, white snowflake. This is why we don't take you people seriously.

Then your imaginary wife is a racist bitch too. Neither of you have the ability nor the moral authority to tell anyone else when they are allowed to perceive racism. Seriously, who the fuck do you think you are? Imagine working two jobs to raise a white racist's children while he did nothing.

Oh, Earl... we have to have hope.... the future of our country depends on it...

Unless there is a mental or physical disability, there is no excuse in America to ask for help from the government.

There are literally tens of thousands of churches and other charitable organizations to help those who are truly in need...Catholic Charities is our group.

If you are physically and mentally able to work and won't...starve.

Take a hike, pendejo.

We're just made of different DNA.
E.g., I find it amusing that you people have found racism in advocating healthy diets, racist roads, racist trees, racist birds, racist babies, racist math, now racist fields. You probably don't. And that's OK.
But for the OP to consider it to be racist to show concern for Hamlin is over the top. She's disgusting.

I do have hope for the ones who are working hard and succeeding but not for those who use racism as a crutch for their own failures.

I believe that 100 years from now, there will still be those who will still be screaming racism.

That's a long time. Long enough to perceive discrimination. Even though you were located in a non-white neighborhood, you still enjoyed the benefits of the white-owned society, but I won't discount your experience. I think it's something that every white American should go through, but I would better appreciate it outside the US. What were the most noticeable memories and impacts of the racial discrimination against you?

Yeah, I have no idea what any of that means, but good rant for you.

I disagree with your self defensive, guilty conscience interpretation of the OP. She didn't say that concern for Hamlin was racist. She said that Hamlin received widespread concern because he's a famous Black sportsperson who entertains and enriches white people. There is no doubt about that in any reasonable mind.
