Trump comes clean: Says America should ‘terminate’ the Constitution
Former President Trump has finally come clean about his hostility to the American Constitution and his willingness to overthrow the government. On Saturday he took to Truth Social, his social media platform, to rehash the Big Lie about the 2020 election, but with a revealing and reprehensible new twist: a call to “terminate” the Constitution.

Trump was spurred to do so by the revelation on Friday that Twitter had taken “extraordinary steps to suppress” the Hunter Biden laptop story in the run-up to the 2020 election.

According to journalist Matt Taibbi, Twitter went so far as “removing links” to the New York Post’s expose that had been shared by users “and posting warnings that it may be ‘unsafe.’” Taibbi said Twitter blocked the story’s “transmission via direct message, a tool hitherto reserved for extreme cases, e.g. child pornography.”

Trump’s predictable first response was declaring — in all caps — “MASSIVE & WIDESPREAD FRAUD AND DECEPTION” and claiming there were only two options: either throw out the 2020 presidential election results and declare him the winner or have a new election.

He then went a big step further, writing: “A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution. Our great ‘Founders’ did not want, and would not condone, False & Fraudulent Elections!”

He followed up by posting “UNPRECEDENTED FRAUD REQUIRES UNPRECEDENTED CURE!”

What Trump said Saturday is startlingly different from his previous proclamations of “love” for the Constitution.

It has been apparent for a long time that Trump has never really had much of a grasp of what the Constitution actually says, let alone what the Founders thought or wanted.

i get that you will 'say' that but what you cannot do, which i can, is show mass numbers of the base of one political candidate (Trump) saying they want it and the Candidate himself talking about ending the Constitution.

It also indicates the level of intelligence and/or dementia present among JPP Trumpers since this same evidence has been posted to the same Trumpers since it came out last year. Either they have memory issues or they are just stupid. IDK which.

This is one of the areas where i just think RB and many like him are honestly just not seeing any of the factual and true negative Trump news. So when they see us post stuff in threads like these, they will have no patience to examine our sources and just hand wave it away thinking 'if this was true, surely i would have seen something about it on OAN or whatever right derp news they watch.

There is no one who is not solely immersed in right derp news who did not know Trump called for the 'termination' of the Constitution. It was all over all other forms of news.

He is not an outlier in that area. When Fox News was being formed decades ago, those who created it (Roger Ales, et al, ) wanted to create a right wing media sphere for that EXACT reason. They new if hey could create a true 'fake news', 'propaganda' sphere for the right, they could control how the derp right thinks and keep it fact free.

RB was their target demographic and he proves it here, every day.

While i agree with that, i take far less issue with two people, both viewing all the facts and reality and coming to differing view points based on their leanings. That is normal human interaction.

What the FOx News, OAN, right sphere has created, very deliberately, is a closed loop of misinformation and propaganda. It is meant to deceive and not inform, when it comes to protecting anything they deem worth protecting or tearing down, anything they deem worth tearing down.

they saw the impact authoritarian gov'ts could have by having a control loop of propaganda to feed the populace and wanted that.

So you have part of society (the center and left) living in reality and trying to debate based on an honest assessment of all the sides of the debate, and the other (big portion of the right) who live on Earth 2, being spoon fed alternative facts, lies and propaganda by corporate puppet masters and like RB, they are oblivious to it.

I figure RB to be one of those kids who grew up in a farming community, where all of the OLD FART FARMERS and LOCAL YOCAL Meat-slappers would all sit together for breakfast at the town square restaurant, and discuss REDNECK POLITICS.

As the town grew and minorities started showing up to actually eat at the Restaurant, instead of just washing dishes, busting tables, and frying their food, THEY WENT APE SHIT about it. It gave them something to really talk about, and made them all feel threatened and stuff! THE NERVE OF THESE BLACK PEOPLE GETTING OUT OF THEIR LANE RIGHT?

RB was the guy that always wanted to be a part of the BIG REDNECK round table, and knew he had to be just like them, if he wanted to be a part of it and be able to brag about how many possums, armadillos, Gophers and crows they gut-slammed the day before- just for target practice!

He definitely seems to fit that mold.

He expressed a view about blocking all migrant labor coming in, such as those who work on farms and pick the cotton, etc, as if that should be something America does.

When we then discussed this would destroy whole segments of farming in America, as American's will not do those jobs at that pay, and if you raise the pay then the produce will not be bought at market beside cheaper stuff from Mexico, etc. He seems to think todays young people, who he admits and calls lazy will not do it, while thinking they should be 'forced' to do it by law?

he never downright would say that last part but it was the inevitable only path if you block migrants and expect young people to do the work they do not want to.

I mean, even if we all agree, for sake of argument, todays younger people are softer and that is why they won't do the work, how does that fix the problem for the farmers if you just outlawed their migrant labor??

A good possible reason.

Another reason could be that they are not very bright and/or mentally ill.
