Quite clearly I've expressed the definition of ' Colonization ' as having a component of population transfer and territorial absorption. These were not Russia's intent in creating buffer states. Russia's buffer states retained their population, their titles and their character. Russia is the world's largest country. It has no need for territorial gain and no overflow of population to transfer. The buffer states were intended to prevent Western encroachment and that's what they did. They weren't ' colonized ' at all. The North American states were colonized before and after they were united. Both Cypress and yourself have allowed your inbred Russophobia to run away with your sense of proportion.
