Nice try, but I never said sexual orientation isn't complex. I accept that orientation and gender are fluid.

So if you don't understand what makes something natural, maybe don't have an opinion either way on homosexuality.

Clearly you don't understand the term.

The American Psychological Association, the American Psychiatric Association, and even gay researchers recognize that homosexuality cannot be reduced to biology alone. Instead, they acknowledge that social factors seem to play a key role in the development of homosexuality. No evidence suggests that it’s natural for some people to be born gay.

There you go. Christians had to make up a being called Satan in order to blame all the diseases, wars, unlucky life events, etc. on. Oh and also too, to blame their own sinful behaviors on as well. Satan isn't a figure in Judaism.

Jews believe in something similar to Hell, they believe the bad Jews are suffering in boiling excrement in Gehenna.

Pardon me for butting in, but isn't this exactly the same as someone calling someone else a racist because he was called one first? "I know you are but what am I?"?? lol

The fact remains that most Christians -- and officially their churches as well -- disdain homosexuality and insist that it is sin rather than a natural human variant. This is puzzling to us non-Christians. God creates humans, they tell us. God creates gay humans, therefore. Man decides that God's gay creation is flawed, and treats him/her accordingly. This is not logical. Nor does it comport with their own religious tenets. It's not just Xtianity that does this, either. So does Islam.

They believe in a "world to come" where one's soul resides for eternity, but it isn't quite the same as Christianity's heaven and hell. If I see Guno around I'll ask him to explain to us.

You only hear of the more radical leanings of Christianity. The Christians and churches I know are more tolerant today and believe God will accept gays into heaven than the were 30 years ago.

But that isn't the point Stone was trying to pin me down because I used the term natural. He refuses to accept that the subject of homosexuality is much more complex that a simple it's natural or un-natural.

Islam and Christianity oppose homosexuality because primitive societies require lots of warm bodies to survive and homosexuals do not reproduce.

That's what makes me so curious about what they mean when they say we need "Christian values." They never actually explain what those are. If they actually do mean guns and kicking people off food stamps, that just makes them even more ignorant of their own religion.
