CRT is Commie bullshit designed to divide Americans by race. MLK Jr. would never go for that garbage. He was an American who fought and ultimately died for the opposite of CRT.
MLK Jr.s dream lived from the late 60s until Obama. King's dream flourished for 4 decades, but I suppose all good things come to an end, and now there's this CRT bullshit.

Had he lived, he would probably be a supporter of the DSA.
Some Republicans try to pretend otherwise, but anyone who cares to investigate will see that he was a socialist in all but name.
This does not undermine or take away in any sense the historic role this brave man played in extending the rule of law to Southern Blacks.
(In fact, this was true of the whole Southern civil rights movement... at least, of the whites who were involved. I took part in a voter registration
project in Fayette County, Tennessee -- Google "Tent City" -- and of the fifty or so whites involved, there was not a single conservative. We were all liberals or
further Left. Conservatives are ... conservative. It's not in their DNA to go out on the streets, unless they're really pushed. Which they have been, as many
of them see it, recently.)
But Northern Republicans
were for Civil Rights, generally -- Barry Goldwater integrated the National Guard in Arizona before the military was generally integrated.

I do remember Dr. King when he's brought up. Of course I do.
There have been far too many seriously accomplished people over history to have a holiday commemorating each one of them,
and thus we don't need one to commemorate any of them, respected though they may remain.
We have history books and journal/media archives to remember them. That's what matters.

Agreed but now the phrase is "the tenets" meaning if you ever say anything about slavery, you'll be fired as an anti-American and a race traitor. Or so I've heard.
IMO the Democrats over-politicized global warming but the Republicans have politicized both a pandemic and our nation's schools. They bitched about "too much liberal crap in schools", but it's they who are imposing controls on what can be learned. They bitched about "activist judges" then stacked SCOTUS with activist judges.
I'm greatly disappointed in both parties and feel it's important that everyone get behind a third effort to change things back to common sense.
