Working class white men very angery...

Oh I was born with a white spoon in my mouth winning life's lottery at birth. This is the essence of you on the left, egalitarianism. Equal outcome instead of equal opportunity. You are of the collective racial mindset immediately identifying the white working middle class as privileged and not earning themselves better lives through hard work.

You speak of no level playing field. You instead speak of a score card with a tie and no winner except a ruling class overseeing a working class.

Enter Donald Trump the messenger.

If he brings that message, he's a poor messenger for sure.

I think the dumbest thing Obama has done regarding racial incidents was his handling of the Prof. Gates incident, because Gates was being retarded, and the cop involved was not misbehaving (now, the idiots who called for him, OTOH...). The beer conference was cool, at least, because it involved beer...

Read the article I linked. Gates gave the cop his identification and that should have been end of story.

What besides a kind of bias would lead anyone to read race into that? Do you really think white people scheme against blacks in their daily lives?

You couldn't have read the entire article. The prof gave the cop his proper ID and that should have been the end of it. Cop should have left the premises; instead he demanded the prof step outside the house so he could be arrested.

I'd do the same as the prof if it happened to me.

Because she called the cops when it looked like someone might be trying to break in to a neighbors house? That's interesting.

I think a racist would be less inclined to call the cops if they thought their black neighbor was getting burglarized. Since when do actual racists care about their black neighbors?

Why did the cop persist in harassing the prof after Gates gave him proof of residency?

Historically uneducated heterosexual white men enjoyed a certain privilege in our country, no matter their personal circumstances society allowed them to consider themselves better, and in fact they often had better opportunity, than those who were "different". They had better job prospects, better earning potential, and a specific standing that existed not based on merit, but on how society viewed them.

These people are not racist necessarily, they simply enjoyed a life made possible by prejudice, likely mostly without consciously knowing it.

In the past 25 years great strides have been made to change the social order in our nation. Women, minorities and homosexuals have grown in social standing to attain a closer to equal standing with the white man. Many, including myself, call this progress.

The result however has become a class who are not automatically held in such high esteem without regard for merit. Many of these men are have been left with a feeling that America is no longer great, without reflection on the reasons, they "feel" their standing has been lowered, and without study of the reason they are strongly attracted to the slogan "Make America Great Again."

So while not overtly racist, the slogan to these people represents a return to a time when things were better for this group of people, but not better for a conglomeration of minorities, To these minorities the reasoning behind the slogan rings of racism. So the white supporters of Trump are bewildered when accused of Racism and the minorities who do not want to return to an America that was not "great" for them.

This is where we stand facing the 2016 election. Will the once white male majority convince enough women to join them to get Trump elected, or will the confederacy of minorities band together and elect Hillary Clinton.

With either Hillary or Bernie you have someone who continues to incorrectly blame the problems minorities have on white people. As long as you give people an excuse, you shouldn't be surprised when, as a group, they continue to lag behind.

Your tripe is nothing more than the bullshit white privilege nonsense. Even with affirmative action using race as a benefit, something that you said is wrong when used to deny, minorities still lag behind. It's like them starting a 400m race with a 100m headstart and still finishing behind those who actually ran 400m.

they just want to be allowed to think they are the chosen ones

so they want everyone else to pretend to be their lessor so they will be happy

I suggest they just get therapy and accept they are not the chosen ones

With you, I don't have to pretend. You are less than me and you show it every day.

you don't think women are equal asshole

your mother wasn't a good enough person to prove it to you

OR

your so evil that even though she was a wonderful person you still insist she was weak and emotionally flawed

In your case, yes. You are weaker than me.

why do you think women are less than men

I think YOU are less than me. It has nothing to do with you being female. It has everything to do with you being you. If you didn't have between your legs what you have, the damn dogs wouldn't even play with you.

Personally, I see putting Hillary in the White House is akin to bailing out a sinking ship with a teaspoon. Sanders is what he is, and his record in Vermont speaks for himself. He'd face just as much if not more stonewalling from the GOP...and maybe more from the Dems...but at least it's a step away from the war mongering reaganomics we've been living under for over 30 years (Clinton & Obama non-withstanding).

the "angry white guy" vote mantra always leaves out this simple truth.....the angry white guys VOTED AGAINST THEIR OWN INTERESTS. They believed it wasn't going to happen to them....but it did. Now they're stuck, and will grasp any stray (i.e., Trump, Cruz, Rubio) to avoid admitting they are their own worst enemy.

A socialist should face stonewalling. If you want to live in a socialist country, move to one.
