American way of life

On some things, you are. Case in point....Any vet will tell you that jobs in the "war machine" are always overshadowed by the knowledge that you might get killed one day just doing your job (a similar occupational hazzard shared by cops and firemen)....and there are a LOT of opportunities and availabilities in civilian life that just don't exist in the military...like the option to quit at any time you feel like it.
Soldiers and cops are paid pawns who protect the establishment from the people. They are now being replaced with robots. Eventually they will be in the same situation of those they brutalized and murdered.

GMAFB, you Post Modern Fool. One of America's strengths is that it allows fools like you to exists and soap box your BS....that way people know what NOT to teach their kids. Carry on.

you flap your gums instead of your wings.......you and your ilk have failed this country........

Your first sentence doesn't make any sense (not surprising). As to your second sentence; my "ilk" didn't facilitate 30 years of near depression "reaganomics (aka "trickle down economics), or perpetuate a lie to invade and occupy a country that had NOTHING to do with 9-11, or embroil us in a 20 year war in Afghanistan instead of taking Bin Ladin to the International Court in the Hague, or pass tax breaks for the rich, or reward corporations that outsource their companies and jobs overseas, or REDUCE funding for veterans, or remove the system that would have prevented 9-11 in the first place.

No, my post modern fool, all that is on the shoulders of YOUR political leaderships and wonks like YOU who support/voted for them. A matter of fact, a matter of history.

A plausible argument for the military, but highly debatable for police overall. The robot thing is just absurd, because a few prototypes ponied before the cameras are a hell of a long way from what you are saying here.

Look, I get it....you have serious issues with this country (as do many). However, you seem to bend towards the extreme....and as I've stated before, there are people from countries that actually live in those extremes who will educate you real quick as to exactly how good (or bad) things are here as opposed to the rest of the world. Nowhere is prefect, and I dare say "we are number 1" attitudes are at best presumptuous.

a matter of fantasy.....the good news is that your control of the House is soon to be a matter of history......your control of the senate is soon to be a matter of history....Biden's lucid moments are beyond anyone's recollection......

We're quickly approaching social, economic, and political collapse. Will cops continue to protect our broken system once they're no longer being paid?

And there you have it, dear readers. This intellectually impotent MAGA troll has just denied recent history. According to him, there was no reaganomics (or "voodoo" economics as George Bush Sr. so famously called it), there was no documented LIE that put our soldiers in harms way in Iraq, there was NEVER any tax breaks that favored the wealthy under either Bush or Reagan or Trump, no outsourcing under the aforementioned, no dismantling of the security measures Clinton put in place that keep terrorist out of the USA for 7 years (the Shrub's 9-11 gift to us all).

Nope, in the Post Modern Fool's mind, NONE of this happened....the current problems in America are all the fault of the DNC (yeah, Obama saving us from a second depression thanks to 8 years of the Shrub never happened either).

This is why I consistently put the little simpleton on IA, because low level trolls like him just aren't worth the effort. He's permanently banned off my threads and posts from now on....and you'll see him consistently post to me like a bitch in heat. Sad.

Say goodnight, Gracie.

We've been doing that for 40 years, my friend. A second depression won't defund police, as it didn't in the first one. And contrary to popular belief, not every cop in the USA is corrupt or neglectful of their job to protect & serve the public. If they were, You'd know it. Just ask anyone who came from countries where that is the case.

there wasn't "reaganomics", as the trickle down effect was always intended to have two parts.....cut taxes/cut spending.......Tip O'Neal back tracked on his agreement to cut spending.....so we only got demmynomics.......if you aren't happy with the results blame the demmycrats.....and now our dear readers know you're the one denying history.......or perhaps you were too young to have been there like I was.......has all your history come from the demmycrat handbook of disinformation?......

You forgot to say "the ZIONIST war machine".

This Christian Nation certainly deserves it's elected Christiananality pedophilia national religion based on fabricated Islam misnomers & insinuations granted standing by SCOTUS for Federal Lynching KKK churchstate of hate fiefdom enforcement Mengele " Angel of Death" baptize thine eyes by urinations of a retired Pentagon staff sergeant to put on a patriot act for 9/11 as Russia's rootin' tootin' Putin fabricated Ukraine Orthodox Church Nazi misnomers for mass murder.....

I'm talking systemic collapse similar to the Soviet Union where no one was paid for quite some time. We all saw the capitol police used as pawns on 6-Jan. When people revolt they come after the state. Cops protect and serve the state, not the people. Another problem with the American way of life is we are clueless about history. Food riots of 1931 ended in government reform. Half of us think reform was a bad thing. We can't reform a divided nation. We have to fight it out to see who wins control of the state. History tells us it will be the nazis.

This country was founded on genocide and slavery. Again, the America we pretend to be and the America we are.

That's the woke version of American history. The reality is genocide and slavery were the status quo worldwide in that era so America wasn't unique in that respect. We were however unique in founding a democratic republic that recognized rights of citizens over rights of government and ultimately led to the abolishment of slavery and equal rights in society of the indigenous population of America that had been vanquished. Also remember the genocide of native Americans was overwhelming due to European disease that they had no resistance to. It was not a Rwanda or Nazi Germany style genocide.

The American revolution didn't end the status quo. We are an extension of the British empire with remnants of the Roman empire in our churches. There's a good possibility the US will split into several nations with the next generation. Things happen quickly once people tire of the status quo.

Kind of a stretch to claim war with the British Empire was an extension of it and our constitution did away with Church power over the State.
