Yes it's not very nice but then a lot of what Desh says and Howey said is pretty disgusting as well. Just as well that you weren't on the old Netscape boards it could be like the Wild West at times, as there was little or no moderation. Ask Christie she will tell you. Anyway when you said porn I thought you were talking about visual images. So why didn't you IA him when you say it, we have had lots of crazies on here in the past, they usually go away when they are ignored.

The incessant whining is really making me laugh. These libtardiots don't know how to take yes for an answer. They got everything they wanted except me being banned.

If I do some crap like that again, I deserve to be banned. But, the Mods are nothing if not consistent in how they apply their rules. I received a warning which apparently they had the nerve not to share with Snarla and Dantes/Bijou. Can you believe that Damo did not copy them on his missive to me? I mean what the fuck? Does he think he owns this site or something? Doesn't he know that they need to be copied on all forum activities?

You can ask Grind, I may not be his favorite poster on this board, but I am nothing if not honest and a man of my word. The YEARS that I went unvective were noted by long lists of christiany claiming cons ganging up to load down any thread I started with post after post of nothing but personal insults and not one fact.

I think they thought because I didn't insult that I would be appalled by them and leave.

Little did they know my biggest frustration was merely having to resist the great retorts that were jumping into my head.


It was a great practice in restraint from me.


It was kinda fun in that way.
The last time I went uninvective was right after the Gabby Giffords attempted MURDER by a right wing tax and gun nutter.



I started a thread titled " the experiement in civility".

I pledged to be civil and not use invective and asked for people to join me


NOT ONE PERSON joined the effort.


I even ended up with some christian guy ( really sweet fellow) offer to have me join his political discussion group at a local college in my area.


He was impressed with how civil I stayed while being constantly attacked personally.


Poor guy.

about two days after that I ended the year long pledge and he realized I was not going to be doing it.



I use invective because its fun ( sorry guys I have NEVER understood why some words BAD) and first and foremost we have a faction in this country that facts mean nothing to.

they do not see politics as a fact based endeavor.

ITS religion to them.


that is why the facts don't move them.


they believe and that is enough for them.


THOSE kind of people in society need to be SHAMED publically.

THAT is the ONLY way they will lose their power to FOOL people.

when I got to politics.com I didn't insult.

I really though it was a matter of JUST getting the facts to people.


I was naïve.
