I had a .22 and .410 at the age of 12.........but at that age I was also of the mindset that hunting animals was cool

I had one fight...at a poker table in Las Vegas. The other guy (drunk) that started the fight took a bad beat. He got up to beat me up.

My chips were my weapons. I just threw them at him. While he was fending those off I was able to close distance and knock him down. The fight ended when two casino security showed up and drew their guns on the stupid bastard.

The casino actually thanked me (the guy was a known problem) and doubled my chip count. The camera footage showed it all, and was used as evidence against this bastard's trial.

Hope THAT never happens again!

It certainly can be. It's also a useful skill to develop.
Learning to handle a gun, and to aim and reliably hit your target, even though the target is moving, is pretty cool.

Why do you think people make a big hobby out of skeet shooting?

I am glad I learned how. It is definitely a useful survival skill............

false. while carrying a gun everyone is respectful and courteous. In rittenhouses case, he encountered a bunch of bullies who thought they could intimidate a young kid and when he didn't respond with gunshots, thought that they could attack him. they were wrong. that's how it goes with mob violence though........everyone seems braver around others with the same intent

It is true, even common sense tells you, without the gun easily available less gun violence occurs

Doubt the “respectful and courteous,” and Rittenhouse didn’t scare anyone, mistakenly he thought showing up with a assault weapon would scare off people, he was wrong, in fact, opposite occurred

that right to life is only guaranteed by you being able to protect yours. Rational thought dictates that some people will not give a fuck about you and your life.....so whether it's a gun, knife, hammer, ball bat, or fist, some people will try to take a persons life. that is why you have a RIGHT to the most effective tool to defend your life
