The SCOTUS JOB is to interpret the Constitution not to invent laws. The SC Justices interpreted that there is NO SUPPORT for abortion in the Constitution. The Constitution does not ban or allow abortion. The Constitution is mute on abortion. Things that the Constitution does not SPECIFICALLY give to the Federal government are given to the states to decide. If the states want the Constitution to allow abortion all they have to do is vote in an amendment to the Constitution. That is how the law works.
