I've had COVID twice. I was never going to die.

The goal of lockdowns was to flatten the curve. The problem is, most of the country wasn't going to have overwhelmed hospitals or large-scale outbreaks caused by the curve happening normally. If anything, we would have hit herd immunity faster and protected some of the at-risk.
