Jade's vacation pics 6/25 - 7/20.

Well we made it through Banff, and I thought I'd share one of the slowly disappearing glaciers. Looking at it through my binoculars, it must have ice at least 30 feet thick.

A non nature related one. Found an interesting flavor of Doritos. Don't tell Grind, because these would make major munchies. They also have various kit kat bars. Like Ones with a choc chip cookie dough filling, and a cookies and cream, cappuccino, or mint large bar.

"Banff
Town in Alberta, Canada
Banff is a resort town in the province of Alberta, located within Banff National Park. The peaks of Mt. Rundle and Mt. Cascade, part of the Rocky Mountains, dominate its skyline. On Banff Avenue, the main thoroughfare, boutiques and restaurants mix with château-style hotels and souvenir shops. The surrounding 6,500 square kilometres of parkland are home to wildlife including elk and grizzly bears.
Elevation: 4,537′ "

Always heard about Banff, don't really know much about it.

I'm now in Radium Hot Springs for the night. No Jack I won't go to the springs, and get a babe picture. Probably more old folks anyway.

Ok. It was just a suggestion.
And, are you trying to take over from Anthony Bourdain? I'm seeing a lot of 'food dishes' here.

Oh, and let me apologize for Owl trying to take over your thread with her "Look Everybody! I've got pictures too!". (please forgive her, she can't help it)

Where's the next stop and do you have any outdoor activities planned?

Didn't I say to save the drama for elsewhere?

Hey Jade, just saw your glacier vid on FB.... awesome!!! If you have time, pls send us some of your cool too. Thanks in advance.

I just flew back home from Lost Wages this morning. Fun fact: The Mirage has roaches in room 16016. It's probably getting bombed right now. Anyway, at the cost of having to deal with a hysterical and livid wife, we got a fun upgrade, and some returned fees and expenses.

Oh how disgusting. Thank the gawds it wasn't bedbugs!

My understanding is, no. I can't speak to the high-end card and roulette tables, however. I imagine the high stakes poker games do.

That's too bad. I don't know what the casinos here do. They're all owned by the local indigenous tribes. Got a couple friends who work there; will have to ask. I'm not much for gambling. At least in Vegas though there are shows and plenty of other stuff to do if you're not into playing. How long were you there? What did you guys do?

Besides adding to your hangover collection, that is. lol

For sure. We blow all of our money on booze, though. A few dollars into the penny slots, just to add to the lighting and sound effects of the casino, and we're good.

:shots:

Ever make it outside of town? They got some Ski Resort at about 8,000 feet. There a national park with vivid color formations on the way.
