Morality is all in your mind.

"Would you say that religion has given us a moral compass, incredible architecture and our most valued Constitution? "

No. No man has ever spoken to a god to be given moral direction. Morality came from man and man leveraged human gullibility (a fear of an imaginary sky wizard) to force whatever morality they came up with at the time. That's why Christians had to explain away the teachings of the Old Testament which were clearly immoral later standards.

Dumbest statement yet. So, in your delusional and convoluted brain, morality is not learned, but inherent?

People who believed in gods designed architecture and the constitution. That isn't the same as "religion" giving us those things.

I don't think you even know what you just typed. :palm:

Christians have also committed the largest majority of the murders in the country, committed the majority of the child abuse, infidelity, etc.

Wrong, man has committed great harm and murder which is why religion and morality became humanities guidance.

Atheistic Marxism and Fascism have given us the greatest majority of murders in man's history. You should get educated before you bloviate with that inane dumbass bullshit.

There must be something to God and Jesus. Before Jesus death and resurrection, Romans fed Christians and others to lions for entertainment. After his death and resurrection, the Roman Empire collapsed and basically became the seat of Christianity. :dunno:

Because immoral behaviors are directly related to the conscious experience of living creatures.

Wrong again. Immoral behavior is the direct result of a failure to teach morality. Morality is not inherent. It is learned.

Abuse, sexual abuse, slavery, etc are immoral, scientifically speaking, because of the experiences of those being abused/enslaved. It would be immoral to enslave a dead person because there would be no way for them to experience the negative aspects of slavery.

Wrong. They are immoral thanks to religion and moral teachings. Before Jesus death, it was okay to have slaves and abuse humans for sport.

So again, how do you know what is immoral and what is not? You learned it.

There are no gods. No man has ever spoken to a god. Therefore, any ideas of morality are solely the creation of man. That's why "morality", even among Christians, has changed over time. A true omniscient god wouldn't say something is moral today, but change his mind tomorrow.

Thanks for coming onto the thread with your usual level of shitposting. Guess we'd exhausted the topic pretty well. Enjoy yourself.
Projecting again. You aren't just a dumbass, but lack any self-awareness. Another reason one should never argue with a lying leftist moron, but rather, point at the lying leftist moron and laugh.

There are no gods.

How do you know this? MSNBC told you so?

No man has ever spoken to a god.

Apparently you are uninformed about religion and how it is better than atheism.

Therefore, any ideas of morality are solely the creation of man.

The question was, do you believe that morality is inherent? Or is it taught? Simple answer will do.

That's why "morality", even among Christians, has changed over time.

Morality hasn't changed over time. Examples of what you think has changed about it. The ten commandments have changed??? Really???

A true omniscient god wouldn't say something is moral today, but change his mind tomorrow.

So now you think you know what God would say after telling us there is no such thing. You really are brainless.

Morality has changed over time and continues to change today.

Have you read the Old Testament? Is it ok to kill your neighbor for working on the Sabbath? Can you sell your daughter into slavery? Can you kill your wife if you find out she's not a virgin on your wedding night? Can you kill your kids for back talking or kill your neighbor for planting different types of crops together?

we have records of their pro slavery lifestyles and teachings.
I don't need slave owners to explain anything to me.

Unlike you, I believe there are objective moral absolutes, and kidnapping humans and enslaving them is objectively evil, independent of culture, social norms, opinion, legislation, law, precedent, excuses, popular consensus.

so do I.

treat others as you want to be treated.

that;s objective.

it hasn't changed.

humanity is in varying leveis of denial from epoch to epoch.
