Right Wingers~ Explain Socialism to me

All government, (of the people, by the people and for the people), regulations is socialism. Minimum Wage, 40 hour work week, National Holidays, OSHA, ObamsCare, Socialist Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Welfare and on and on and on.

Which of the preceding definitions defines Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Welfare, OSHA, 40 hour work week, National Holidays for workers and all other government social economic laws and programs? If they’re not CAPITALISM what are they? Why are they not SOCIALISM? What else is there aside from capitalism & socialism?

Your definition of socialism(i.e. the PEOPLE control distribution and the means of production)is the definition the socialists themselves will try to foist upon you. Mott's definition, intentional or not, is the reality. The illusion that the people are in control of their economic destinies is what seduces the weak minded and draws them into socialism.

This is a bait thread and an attempt to get "Righties" to actually search what Socialism is, because they don't and they only learn what their cult style media teaches them. Why was a Left Winger the first to answer this when it was DIRECTLY asked for the Right to answer?
 
Socialism, not the Welfare state, is when the PEOPLE decide what industry should make. Because Industry isn't supply/demand. The people can simply vote what occupations should earn more than others. I'm sure many of us have seen "I think people wearing a helmet to defend our Country should make more money than the people wearing a helmet to defend a football".

Our system is better but the ignorant people in America need to understand systems and stop being Sheeple that fall in line for profits over Humanity. <--That is IT.
 
BAD Socialism like in Australia have a GOVERNMENT PANEL that decides what the people should make. Basically what we are seeing today in America, Government controlling the rich/poor.

Good Socialism is better than what we see today, and THIS SHOULD NOT BE THE CASE.

Capitalism use to be best when it wasn't used to manipulate society. Today Capitalism is the basic platform of the Right Wing. I'll only use ONE reference that will end this theory. ENVIRONMENTALISM. Tell me why the hell that is a Left Wing word.....Tell me why I talk to my Right Wing friends and they act as if Recycling is a huge step for them. One even stated "I'm not a big environmentalist, but recycling is easy" The INDIANS stated "Do not take more from the land than you need" and today we have a power class that wants to take EVERYTHING as long as they get more money, basic worship of money, the false idle.
