Never mind.... looked it up...I wasn't white washing, BTW...but I find it very naive, at the very least....and pretty dishonest of you guys thinking that private sales aren't a factor.

But you want to equate all private sales with the idea that someone has nefarious ideas, behind them.

PLus; it's now apparent that you're attempting to argue from the postion of not even knowing what the parameters are.

No....I never said all private sales and I never even suggested all private sales. What if it's 20% of all private sales? 10%?

That's still a hell of a lot of weapons going into the wrong hands.

So, what you are saying is that because I wasn't familiar with the term "straw sale" that I'm totally ignorant? Talk about white washing.

Well you finally got something right; because I am saying you were attempting to argue a point and you were ignorant about about the situations involved.

It doesn't matter if it's 1%; because society doesn't have the right to continue to subject the majority to jump through hoops, just because there's a minority that commit illegal acts.

Using your convoluted logic; everyone should have a lock out system installed in their cars, since there's a specific number that drive under the influence.

So if a specific number of the population want to reinstate slavery, it should be considered?

And if you don't understand the full ramifications of the ENTIRE amendment, President Washington and the boys sure as hell clarified things with the Militia Act of 1792. I would suggest you get an adult to read and explain it to you, because you do seem to have a problem comprehending English composition.
 
I asked the author of this thread and his supporters to provide ONE attempt by Congress to "grab" guns from law abiding, legal gun owners.

To date, they can't provide ONE proposal.

I asked a few of the NRA parrots on this thread to tell me what the hell is so scary about a background check, if the gun purchaser has nothing to hide?

Again, no answer.
