The biggest problem facing monotheism.

They say he was not Jewish?! Do you have your own history?
You said he was a "jewish figure", whatever that means.

Whatever I think about him, according to the New Testament canon, he was not just some jewish rabbi, teacher, or mystic. He was the Messiah and God incarnate.

Good, you are back to reality. Jesus was a Jew.

If you want to claim he was just some random Jewish guy, than you have to explain why the written attestations about him say he was so much more than that. And that gets back to the original post I wrote, that you have to say either Jesus was insane, he was a liar, or there was a vast conspiracy to fabricate stories about what he was after he died.

I said nothing about being "random."

Jesus influenced others. Lots of people have been influential. I find nothing interesting about his life or teaching.
That doesn't explain why the written attestations of Jesus say he was so much more than a "figure".

I have my own suite of hypotheses, but if you're going to be evasive, I don't want to invest the time to articulate them.

Who's emotionally charged?

Your language is. "Liar", "Insane", "Conspiracy", "fairy tale". All of that is emotionally charged language and you and I both know you are specifically going for that.

Not me. I think it's valid for me to ask how you can treat Christian belief as idiotic

At no point have I used the word "idiotic". Again, you continually introduced emotionally charged language.

I post more threads about the atheist point of view than anyone here.

You seem to hold atheism in especially low esteem.

You just are not very bright. It is boring.
