You said he was a "jewish figure", whatever that means.

Whatever I think about him, according to the New Testament canon, he was not just some jewish rabbi, teacher, or mystic. He was the Messiah and God incarnate.

If you want to claim he was just some random Jewish guy, than you have to explain why the written attestations about him say he was so much more than that. And that gets back to the original post I wrote, that you have to say either Jesus was insane, he was a liar, or there was a vast conspiracy to fabricate stories about what he was after he died.

That doesn't explain why the written attestations of Jesus say he was so much more than a "figure".
