OK, What would any politician do with over a dozen serious investigations? That was not whataboutism. It is a fair question, She survived all that unscathed legally. But the people slowly felt that where there is smoke there must be fire. But there was not. They won by using mega millions of taxpayers money to hurt her politically. That is exactly what McCarthy said. We are investigating her to hurt her polling and it is working. No other politician has had to withstand that.

I remember the Bush years quite well. I was in my last year of college when Bush entered office. Despite calling Bush a moron, plenty of the left assumed he orchestrated 9/11. That would have been quite a feat for a supposed "moron." He also apparently was able to "trick" the Democrats into voting for the Iraq War.
