Trump is only delaying the inevitable. The world is going to take increasingly aggressive steps to deal with climate change.

The sooner we begin those steps, the more effective they will be and the less disastrous the affects of climate change will be.

That's why we have to get rid of Trump asap.

You know, when you put a turkey in the oven, the inside of that turkey doesn't instantly become as hot as the oven. It takes time for the heat to make it's way in there. The planet is the same way. So we have all these climate gasses which have been released. That is causing warming. But the planet is slow to respond. It takes time for the heat to make it's way into everything. The sea is a big factor. The oceans are warming slowly. That is going to continue.

Even if we stopped releasing warming gases the warming will continue. A certain amount is locked in already.

We can't just turn this thing around instantly.

It's like a train. They can put the brakes on but they can't stop for miles.

You know how it is in the summer time. You go get your room and it is freezing because housekeeping cranked the AC when they began working on it. They never turned the AC off. It sat there all afternoon and kept chilling the room. You can reset the AC when you get the room but all the furniture and the walls have been chilled. It takes a while to warm the room back up to your liking. It's not like there is an instant response just because you changed the control.

That's what's going on with the world, and it is on a mass scale, the delay time is years.
