Well given the conservatives before them have fucked up just about everything they touched and are still stuck in the 1700’s, can you blame them?

Besides “Socialism” has become a conservative canard for any government program that doesn’t benefit them directly and the vast majority of them don’t fucking understand what the word means.

No, just those raised by parents like yours that were also worthless to society. My children, part of that generation, don't expect the government to take care of them. That's because they, unlike you, had role models that taught them better than yours taught you.
