It's about the Republican party pressuring them to take up cases than can be bent that way. i read there are 6 cases moving up throughh the court system that the Supremes could select. The Roberts court wants to reach back and change established law.

not going to happen.....demmycrats should sit back and let Trump make his appointment......no need to elect more demmycrats in the midterms........no need to run a candidate for president in 2020........just take a deep breath and relax.......

Roe changed established law. I doubt they will do so, but there is nothing unusual about reversing previous decisions whether it has been only a few years or many years.

People do not pressure justices to hear cases or rule a certain way. When a Justice was seen leaving the White House he did not last long.

Why sit back? Do what the Republicunts did and hold the seat until the next election. They said the voters should have their say. So let them speak with their vote.

Plessy v. Ferguson was reversed by Brown v. Board (state segregation)
Bowers v. Hardwick was reversed by Romer v. Evans (sodomy)
Minersville School District v. Gobitis was reversed by West Virginia Brd of Ed v. Barnette (required pledge of allegiance)

Those are the ones I can remember off the top of my head. There were also some free speech cases. I'm sure there are many more I've come across but can't remember without a little research.

The same thing Biden and other Democrats said when they controlled the Senate. It is a rational tactic for a party seeking to keep the other party from appointing justices they oppose.

Biden is not the same. He said it many years ago and it was not treated seriously. they thought nobody would be that venal. There never was a Biden rule. The Dems did not do it.
