You refuse to acknowledge the importance of the other holdovers....let me explain to you their importance: NIH is KEY in dealing with what is now called a "pandemic" regarding the H1 virus. Follow the recent news on this story.

Transportation: having to deal with railroad safety, air safety, etc. Now you remember that little incident called 9/11? The revamp of air port security across the nation? Pretty important stuff, as it has to liason with Homeland Security.

Federal Deposit Security Corp....do I have to draw a map regarding to the current political/legal rangling over banks?

But given such absurd displays of ignorance such as the 9/12 demonstrations, teabaggers and birthers, I dare say that there are MANY Americans who share your misconceptions based on ignorance....willful or otherwise.

And what can you logically or factually disprove? The chronology? What Cheney is saying as opposed to the last 8 years? What the Shrub & company did regarding the security apparatus and procedures that preceded them? The authors of the PNAC? What Kristol and daughter Cheney are up to?

sure I can, all you need to do is recognize that the appointment of a few scarcely known people to insignificant positions hardly qualifies as "bipartisanship".......of course, you feel compelled to promote those token positions to importance, just as Obama did, so you can instill a facade of cooperation behind which to hide the sense of "we won, you didn't" that has pervaded politics since the election......
