Happy insurrection day

It didn't end until 1783. What's your point.
Should be crystal clear without elaborate explanations.

The thread author claimed July 4 is the day we celebrate the insurrection.

The insurrection started 16 months before 4 July 1776 at Lexington and Concord in April 1775.

We celebrate July 4 for the Declaration of Independence, which famously makes the daring philosophical statement that man is created equal and has the natural rights of life and liberty, above and beyond the divine right of kings

The most humorous thing about the hater responses to this is that they are employing all kinds of mental gymnastics in an attempt to prove me wrong, somehow, when reality shows that we've been celebrating this day for over two centuries, the day we started our insurrection. the lexington and concorde battles were not insurrection but incidents of self defense from the crown and it's troops to prevent disarmament.

Indeed.

The important thing about July 4 is not the insurrection.

The insurrection started 16 months earlier in 1775 at Lexington and Concord.

What's important about July 4 is we declared that humans had a universal natural right to life and liberty, and our independence was being rooted in the principles of natural law

I guess you never read the Declaration of Independence, Sybil.

As is your advocacy of Trump fascism being a move to greater democracy. Fucking pathetic.
Fascism is a form of socialism...Democrats.
You can't blame your problem on Trump! Inversion fallacy.

There is no democracy, Hugo. The United States was never a democracy. A democracy has no representatives and no constitution. The Oligarchy you want isn't a democracy either. Redefinition fallacies.

Yes, they were traitors to England. YOU are a traitor against the United States of America. So no, you are not in good company. You are an unprincipled, undisciplined, whiny little ignorant lout. But go ahead, start your little insurrection. I wish you the best of luck.
You can't project YOUR problems on anybody else, Commie. Inversion fallacy.

Are you lying or just DumberthanMost?

Lexington and Concord April 19, 1775
Waco burning April 19, 1993
The Oklahoma Federal Building bombing April 19, 1995

DTM, the date is, indeed, significant. The fact you fucked up and mixed up your dates is more funny than significant. The fact you have repeatedly supported the Murrah building bombing is also significant.
The Waco burning is not part of the War of Independence, Sybil. Neither is the Oklahoma bombing.
He didn't mix up any dates, Sybil.

 Grammar Nazi...
boy-meets-world-laughing.gif
Even worse...the grammar he is complaining about contains no errors.

The Founders were fighting against an oppressive government that was stripping them of their rights.

I support such an action and would support fighting against an oppressive government of white supremacists should Trump attempt to shred our Constitution and install himself as President-for-Life.
You are hallucinating again, Sybil.

Projection. You seem to be quite full of it. :palm:
I've noticed that Hugo seem to spend most of his time describing himself and projecting his problems on Trump or conservatives.

When you can't think for yourself, and you are illiterate in spelling, grammar, mathematics, science, and history, it's all he has.

No, it is not subtle and it is not irrelevant. Dozens of countries have revolted against European rule. Those uprisings are not comparable to a Civil War the divides a single country. What states are declaring independence? Oh, wait, they aren't. There are very few people that you are smarter than. I am definitely NOT one of them.
Random phrases. No apparent coherency. You're still triggered, Sybil.
