I’m changing my party affiliation

Yes, and Trump is a moderate.
You obviously missed my thread about the change in the Republican Party. :
“ But where Trump’s approach was visceral and inseparable from his singular personality, his would-be successors are more sober and more ideological. They are also supported by the kind of political infrastructure that was conspicuously lacking in the chaotic and chronically understaffed Trump administration.”

But you people can’t get over him.

Yes, you really are a Democrat.

Okay.
Well any teacher that preaches like that should be suspended/fired.

But that is ENTIRELY different from the government saying that a teacher cannot even explain what 'Critical Race Theory' is.
Can you just imagine how the teacher in my example would teach it?

We can teach about prejudice and discrimination, but we do not need to do anything to try to shame students. We don't tell kids that they have white privilege or try to make them acknowledge that. There are much more effective methods to lean these things. Telling some white kid in a single parent home and too poor to afford school lunch that he is privileged is counter productive.

I've had this same conversation with others. It's a lot easier for an educated well to do white person to acknowledge their privilege than it is, like you said, say a white kid growing up in a single parent trailer park home with a meth addicted mother. Probably not going to resonate real well with that kid.

This is random but the middle and high school my daughter is assigned to are both 85% Asian and Hispanic. So much of this discussion around the 1619 project and CRT is white and black. Interesting to see it taught in that environment.

In many areas there is a dominant party that is going to win the general election. Not being able to vote in that party's primary gives you no vote in who wins that office.

It is still secret ballot because nobody knows how you voted in the general election. You might have voted in the Republican primary and Democratic in the general election.

That sounds so very honest. Not. Why not just have ppl vote w/o the party registration bullshit?

NY has closed primaries. Not sure about Alaska.

I've only voted in MO and MI where you did not have to be a registered (R) or (D) or (L) or whatever to vote in the primary. You did have to choose a ballot though that only had the candidates from one party on it. Nothing wrong with that.

its only applicable to primaried here in VA as that the only place it makes sense.
totally pointless in the general election. in fact you do not have to register as anything at all unless you wish to vote in a primary.

What is my ideology? I'm not even partisan and don't repeat the party line of either party like most of your posts.

Try to be nice and don't call everybody a racist--it hurts your cause.

Bizarre. You're the only person who doesn't know you're a right winger. kinda scary
