There is nothing "wrong," with buying junk. I can keep myself amused for hours with junk. And debt hurts individuals, it helps the hell out of the economy. It is only on the national level that debt is bad, because it threatens the value of the dollar, trade, and ultimately the economy as a whole... Fucking dumbass. No wonder the Jews run everything and stupid white boys like you can't run a simple deli, let alone a multinational bank or corporation.

The truth of the situation is. The smarter people get about managing their money the worse the economy will do. For quite a while anyway.
 
I gave my son the shit he wanted. I gave him the games ,I bought him the clothes. I also talked to him about what the commercialism was doing to people. I talked about how they imbue a value in things that are not any better then the cheaper items. He refuses to wear a maker name anything now of his own volition. If you try to teach them by refusing them the shit when they truely feel they need or want it and you can afford it they dont learn the internal lesson of how it really does not fulfill the needs.

I grew up knowing I or may family could not afford it. It helped but I still felt cheated out of some things I wanted even if I wanted them for the wrong reasons. I went through a phase were I wanted what I missed out on. It passed quickly and I came to the same point my son is at now. Let the corporations market what they will, regulate them and teach people arround you about their shallowness.


We are now in a downswing of the materialism. A whole generation is now seeing the downside of its bullshit. The young people I know are rebeling against this stupidity. That is why grunge rock is so loved right now.

In response to Asshate, I did say private debt hurts individuals, but it is not "bad." It does not hurt the overall economy if one solitary dumbass throws his money away on baubles and the persuit of happiness. In fact, multiple people probably benefited from the dumbass. That is microeconomics, and it is meaningless.

National economic policy concerns the macro level which does concern me. It is "bad" when the govt. spends itself into debt. Hopefully you make this distinction, because its elementary. And yes, I have been brainwashed by Jews, although they did a bad job of it, because I'm not a big fan of their beloved state of Israel...
